About Spacefund

Spacefund was formed in the new millennium to help teach young children about our solar system and open their eyes to the workings and wonders of space.

We cater exclusively to children within the primary school age range (from 4-11), both at schools themselves and at science festivals and events right across the UK.

Our principal activity is the ‘Kids In Space’ science show, a highly commended theatrical performance that uses all manner of colourful props and lively demonstrations to really bring the subject alive.

In the year Spacefund launched it was named ‘Best New Business In Kent 2001’ at the prestigious Shell LiveWIRE awards, and since then the ‘Kids In Space’ science show has gone on to be seen by over 70,000 children.
